After making more than 100 appearances for Vitesse Arnhem in Holland, Büttner signed for the Reds in 2012. He had a memorable debut as he scored in a 4-0 victory over Wigan Athletic and was later named Man of the Match.
His first season at Old Trafford ended in success as he picked up a Premier League winner's medal. He found the net in the final game of the campaign against West Brom, and so far has two goals in 22 games for the Reds.
