President Goodluck Jonathan today paid a surprise visit to the troubled North Eastern state of Borno.
The visit which got Nigerians talking is the president’s second visit since to the state since the insurgency ravaging the state started.
The president who said to have been accompanied to the state by the chief of defence staff, Air Marshal Alex Badeh, military top brass and the national security advisor, Col Sambo Dasuki (rtd) as well as about 200 soldiers.
President Jonathan also visited soldiers who sustained injuries in the fight against Boko Haram and also InternaI Displaced Persons at their Camp, in Pompomari, Maiduguri.
